WHY IT MATTERS

A fire door only works if it's compliant, and the law now requires proof.

Under the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022, responsible persons for buildings above 11 metres must carry out routine checks of fire doors and keep records. A door with worn seals, oversized gaps or the wrong hardware can fail in minutes.

We make compliance demonstrable: every door we touch is documented, evidenced and signed off, so you're audit-ready, not exposed.

11m+

QUESTIONS

Fire door FAQs

For residential buildings above 11m, communal fire doors should be checked quarterly and flat-entrance doors on a best-endeavours basis at least annually. Commercial premises follow their fire risk assessment, but six-to-twelve-monthly is typical.

FD30 doorsets provide 30 minutes of fire resistance and FD60 provide 60 minutes. The rating required depends on the building, escape routes and your fire risk assessment, we'll advise the correct spec for each opening.

Many issues, gaps, seals, hinges, closers and signage, can be remediated to restore certified performance. Where the leaf or frame is damaged or non-rated, full replacement is the compliant route. Our survey tells you which applies, door by door.

Yes. Every installation and remedial job comes with a full evidence pack, photos, product data sheets, certificates and a compliance register, so responsible persons can demonstrate compliance during audits.

We operate across Greater London, covering every borough inside the M25, covering residential blocks, commercial premises, HMOs, hotels, healthcare and education sites.

Send your building details through the RFQ form and we'll typically respond within one to two working days. For larger portfolios we'll arrange a site survey and return an itemised, fixed quotation.
